Active balun solution for Cat5 distribution
These active baluns from Cabletronix are an excellent solution
for transmitting HD component video, analog audio, digital audio, and IR over a
pair of CAT5E/6 cables. This have been extensively tested with the CRM and
CMX series matrixes to insure the highest quality video distribution.
The IR channel on this device is passive, so it can be used
for EITHER forward channel IR or back channel IR.

Rack mount installation
Installing these active baluns in a standard equipment
rack is easy. The active baluns are designed to be screw mounted
either on the inside walls of the rack or the rear wall behind the rack.
The power supplies can be wired together to reduce the
number of power jacks required (soldered connections).
Ordering information
You will need 1 CATTX and 1 CATRX per independent output zone.
