CMX 16x64 expansion kit

This kit will allow you to combine multiple CMX1616A and CMX1616V switches together to add additional outputs (up to 64). 

The kit consists of:

1. Up to 16 active video and audio splitters  (1 per input)
2. Up to 16 RGB cables for each CMX1616V
3. Up to 16 YWR cables for each CMX1616A

Rack mount installation

Installing the 64 output CMX solution in a standard equipment rack is easy.  The CMX1616V and A switches can be directly mounted with the optional rack ears.  The active splitters are designed to be screw mounted either on the inside walls of the rack or the rear wall behind the rack.  The power supplies for the active splitters can be wired together to reduce the number of power jacks required (soldered connections).

Flexible control options

CMX 16x64 kit can be controlled by several methods, you can choose the one the best fits your home theater control scheme.

1. Manual control using the front panel buttons
2. IR control using a programmable remote.  You can download the Pronto codes needed here.  The raw Hex format is here.
3. IR control using your standard remote.  Zerokey can learn any remote keys to control CMX1616
4. RS-232 control with a PC or your existing home theater controller.  RS-232 programming guide here

Since the output type select codes can be programmed on each CMX1616V/A, you can control all the stacked CMX units using a single remote control without having to worry about interference between the switches.
