CMX3838A2 driver \n
Supports independant audio and video switching.
Full volume control supported.\n
CMX3838A2 supports analog to digital upconversion in all cases.
CMX3838A2 supports digital to analog downconversion for PCM audio streams.
This driver reports that it can do digital to analog downconversion to Navigator.
If you need to remove this functionality, edit the driver and change

The status input/output numbering is 1-16 is analog, 17-32 is coax, 33-38 is toslink.\n
Driver setup PLEASE READ!\n
1. MUST use version 1.1 or higher CMX firmware
2. The Video, Audio selection and volume properties are READ ONLY states
3. The Max and Min volume limits should be configured to your preference (to avoid clipping)
4. To use volume control, connect the CMX room volume control to your volume endpoint
5. Make sure you fully connect all the "connections" used to both inputs AND outputs for VIDEO
6. Make sure you fully connect all the "connections" used to both inputs AND outputs for AUDIO
7. You can paste the following into in the LUA comman window, then click execute
ExecuteCommand("Read_status")
This will readback from the switch. Check the properties tab next and verify that
Readback config status = OK
8. If you want to save the current switch settings to flash as power on defaults, use this LUA command

9. The "Enable zone powerdown" property will automatically powerdown each output zone when not in use.
10. If desired, you can adjust the INPUT volume levels on the PROPERTIES page.
128 = Nominal volume (no adjustment)
196 = Volume boosted by 50%
64 = Volume attenuated by 50%
Make sure your output volume setting is nominal, and adjust each input volume setting so that each source
is roughly the same volume level.
11. C4 ramp speed sets how fast the Control4 ramp function executes (in ms)
12. Internal ramp speed sets how fast the CMX will move between volume levels. 3 is default, 0 slowest and 6 fastest.

IMPORTANT NOTE WHEN USING CMX-A2 AS ROOM VOLUME ENDPOINTS
To insure that power outs or Director crashes do not cause audio to play in rooms unintentionally, please add the following setup steps.
1. Set the volume to a low value and turn on Mute on all zones where CMX-A2 is the room volume endpoint.
2. Save this as the poweron defualt (step 8 above).
3. In the "When project is loaded event" (programming tab), add the CMX-A2 driver command Read_status (custom command on CMX-A2 driver). This will make sure that Director will resynch with the state of the matrix after Director crashes.

Additional Commands\n
Read_status: This will poll the CMX to get the device status and update all properties.
Normally this is not needed since the FP and IR are locked, but can be a useful debug tool.
The Readback config status is set by this command.
They will transition from CurrentState => waiting => OK or ERROR or TIMEOUT.
OK means functioning properly. TIMEOUT means no response from CMX.
ERROR on config status means the device config is incorrect. \n
Save_state X: This will save the current input/output/volume settings to flash slot X. This useful for a
quick recall or doorbell/intercom mode.
Recall_state X: This will recall a previously saved state from flash slot X.
Increase_input_delay: This will increase the input delay of input X by 4 ms.
Decrease_input_delay: This will decrease the input delay of input X by 4 ms.
Increase_output_delay: This will increase the output delay of input X by 4 ms.
Decrease_output_delay: This will decrease the output delay of input X by 4 ms.
Send_serial: This will send a specified generic serial command.
